Garage service remindersBring regulars back without chasing them.
Set an interval, keep consent, and send a reminder the customer can stop.
Start from the last visit
A reminder needs two facts: when the car was last serviced, and how often this garage expects it back. Set the service interval and how many days before that date a reminder should appear.
The odometer reading at check-in gives the next visit something to count from, which is why it belongs on the job card.
Consent before the message
Record whether the customer agreed to WhatsApp reminders. Only customers who agreed belong on the due list.
Consent is a record, not a guess. If the customer did not agree, do not add them because the car is due.
The message stays yours
Garage Master prepares the message: the garage, the car, the last visit and what is due. You share it, and you press send.
The app does not run a WhatsApp sender. Nothing goes out without a person at the counter deciding to send it.
A stop link on every reminder
Each reminder carries a link the customer can use to stop reminders. It works without signing in, and the stop is recorded.
Honouring a stop is part of keeping consent real. A customer who asked to stop should not appear on the next due list.
A rhythm that does not annoy
- Remind once when the interval is due, not every month
- Use the actual last visit and vehicle, never a generic blast
- Keep the message short: garage, car, what is due, one way to reply
- Check consent again before a manual follow-up
In Garage Master
The Reminders screen lists cars due for service from the garage's own interval and lead time, limited to customers who agreed to WhatsApp reminders. One tap prepares the message, and every reminder carries its stop link.
